ARCCLA Receives all the Documents from the Licensing Process of the Transitory Activity
In order to ensure the representation of the entity in charge, over the past few years, the Maritime Institute of Port of Angola (IMPA), ensured the role of supervision of this activity, in compliance with the provisions of Decree No. 68/89, June 12, approving the Statute of Forwarding Agent, coupled with the Executive Decree No. 9/90 of March 31, regulating access to the activity of Forwarding.
In order to fulfill the established in terms of paragraph b) n. 2 and n. 3 of Article 7 of Presidential Decree n. 326/20 of December 29, which gives the entity ARCCLA, the power to regulate the logistics activity, freight forwarding, handling, consolidation of cargo and storage on the Angolan territory.
In these terms and as a result of the transfer agreement signed by the heads of these institutions, on the 15th of this month, at the IMPA premises, the official handover to ARCCLA of the documents from the last 2 years, i.e., the pending processes, as well as the new requests for the exercise of transit activities, took place.
It is worth reminding that ARCCLA’s PCA signed the term of transfer on October 7th of this year.
