Sécil Marítima wins vessels
Took place at the Passenger Terminal of the Port of Luanda, the passage of the Catamarans that were part of the maritime transport of passengers in the province of Luanda, under the tutelage of the Maritime and Port Institute of Angola (IMPA) to Sécil Marítima, in compliance with the order of the Minister of Transport , Ricardo D’Abreu.
The act aimed to incorporate in the Angolan maritime flag company, the means to provide the company to carry out maritime transport activities in the field of cabotage, added to carrying out the logistics activity.
It is important to highlight that four vessels with the designations: Luanda, Macôco, Cacuaco and Panguila are in possession of Sécil Marítima SA to operate on the Cabinda route, due to the geographic discontinuity of that province with the rest of the national territory.
To support the project, terminals to support maritime passenger transport are being built in the municipalities of Cabinda and Soyo. (Source: MINTRANS)
